Time for Peace and Miracles

May today there be peace within

May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that you are born in faith in yourself and others.

Peace on Earth and Goodwill towards men. Christmas eve, I have been thinking of these thoughts throughout the advent.

 Don't get caught in the hustle and bustle of the season, stop, breathe and be thankful and find peace in the moment. and the reason for the season. And the perfect phrase in a book title, "Slow down to the speed of joy" “when the day shall dawn upon us from on high

to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,

to guide our feet into the way of peace.” LK 1:67

Because every day life can be busy, but when it starts the Christmas season why do we speed up? This should be the time to actually slow down, take it all in and reflect. Christmas advent count down as we get closer to Jesus birthday, a miracle and blessing with a promise to all of us. 

Family moments and truly grateful for Family and friends.  We can't all be in the same room at the same time, some will be phone calls, some will be gatherings before or after actual Christmas day, but best gift is knowing they are all there and wanting peace, joy and happiness for all of them. Watching the news and weather predictions it is Winter, we should expect travel conditions to not be the best. While we yearn to be with family at this time, I rather find peace in knowing they are safe, warm and happy. Afterall, modern technology we can be thankful for face time.

This is a time to "be content with yourself just the way you are

Let the knowledge settle in your bones and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise, explore and love. It is there for each and everyone of us." we can only fully enjoy each experience of life, at the speed of joy, at any other speed we miss out.

slow down, look at right now at this moment

take it in, be thankful, be joyful and experience this moment to its fullest, tomorrow its gone.  Give the moment your attention, love and respect

the people in your life, the beauty all around and open your heart. 

Whether you find yourself in a room filled with family, laughter, smiles and hugs or, you find yourself in the peacefulness in your own home. We are never alone.

May you use the gifts you have received

pass on the love that has been given to you

and realize the miracle all around us.

The miracles can be small, but filled with love, joy, kindness and it all takes a little faith.

just put on the eyes of faith, we discover that miracles are happening all around us. The sun coming up is a miracle. Real, genuine, loving relationships are a kind of miracle.  How do we learn to see everything as a miracle?  And as your faith grows, you will see more and more miracles, until finally, you will realize everything is a miracle.

Christmas is a miracle.
