Don't Wait
Are we always waiting for something?
People wait in line, we wait for the light to turn green, we wait for our turn. Sometimes we wait for more meaningful things, like someone to acknowledge us, say hello, say sorry, open the door or just wait for the "please". We wait for the new baby to be born, do we even wait for death?
Life is out there waiting for us, the dog is waiting for you to come home, I would say the cat is waiting to be petted but I don't think cats wait for anyone. We wait on hold on the phone, we wait at the doctors to get our time in, we wait and wait but how much of our time are we wasting waiting?

Don't wait to tell someone you love them, they may not be here the next time. Don't wait to be polite, always be kind to others. Don't wait for something that may never happen. Don't wait for a better day, better time or even better moment. There is a difference in being patient but don't wait and waste another precious moment. Enjoy it now, what ever the moment is. Enjoy listening to music, your favorite TV show, listening to someone you love and what they have to say, listen to the silence in the morning when all is still and peaceful.
Don't wait to enjoy life while you " have to first get something done". That does not mean don't show up for work, instead enjoy your work. That does not mean avoid responsibility but instead find the beauty in what you are doing and enjoy it! There are tasks that are not pleasant but the outcome can be grand.
Don't wait to die, even when death is at your door. If you are still here, there is something in the moment you can still appreciate and enjoy.
Don't wait, instead enjoy what is infront of you here and now. This moment will never come again, so don't be so busy waiting for something or someone else, you miss what is right under your nose.
