Time Slips Away

Time marches on, and when we stop to look back it is amazing how fast it keeps moving;
Time marches on
Time heals wounds
Turn back the clock and turn back time
Where did the time go?
Time flies
No time like the present
Make time
Time runs out
The clock is still ticking
Time's a wasted
The greatest gift is the gift of time
We never have enough time
No time like the present
Time is eternity
Time is on my side, yes it is.
“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.” ― Mother Theresa
Today, there are moments time stands still. Twenty one years have passed. Today, Micheal would have been twenty eight, but he only made it to his seventh birthday. Time is not as long for some of us. So, time is eternity is a strong belief. Time is it just here on Earth? We count the revolutions of the Earth and Sun. The Earth rotates one full revolution in twenty four hours, it circles the Sun in 365 days. Minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, seasons, years and centuries; is time a man made illusion? " Time is basically an illusion created by the mind to aid in our sense of temporal presence in the vast ocean of space." from dictionaries of the 18th Century.....Century another reference to time.
Well, the past twenty one years seems like an eternity and yet seems like it was only yesterday. Looking back in time in memories of the sweet gentle face of a seven year old who"never had enough time". Does time stand still in Heaven? When its my time to make that journey, will I find a seven year old? Or is time just an illusion we have created?
Well, don't waste time because it is a gift. How ironic, tonight we spring forward in time. Yet, the Earth is not going to speed up an hour in its revolution, we lose an hour of time tonight. We can't make up lost time! Albert Einstein viewed time as, " People like us, who believe in physics, know that the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion." Einstein did not reject the existence of time. Instead, he rejected the distinction between past, present, and future.
I say, make the most of the time we have as we know it, it is precious and we can't go back in time and get it back. We have that time in our memories, time lives in our minds and hearts. There is no time machine, just here and now so seize every moment. “There comes a time when the world gets quiet and the only thing left is your own heart. ...
