Look Back and Grow Forward

Life springs us forward, even the time tries to keep moving us forward and sometimes faster than we want. We look back at our past and hope to move forward.

Daily events big and little, shape us. The major events make sometimes a bigger impact, but even a pleasant moment where we feel good that seems so simple, takes effect on our bodies. Memories are locked in our brains for our life time. They unlock and unfold in many ways. Our senses trigger the memories;

A taste

A sound

A Smell

A touch

A similar event can trigger a memory - good, bad, happy or sad.

Even in the locked dementia world, the memories are there, just locked in place. We even push memories we do not like, deep down and hide them away. Memories can unfold in our sleep. Dreams over lap memories and try to release them, or stress can dig the memories up.

We all have "demons in our past". Life is not only about happy moments. But, you have the freedom to learn and grow forward.

How do you work through those memories, set backs, or difficult times?

Let go, and find your inner self. reconnect with the great outdoors and de-

clutter from life. Break away from static, electronics, media and negative forces.

Hike, camp, garden, grab the dogs and head out for a walk, grab the camera and shoot nature, breathe in fresh air and find yourself.

It is Spring! New life is transforming, flowers popping, animals coming out of hibernation or migrating. Just get outside and create a new adventure ( it may be raining so grab a jacket!)
