On the Road to Paradise

To live in the Pacific Northwest, nature is at your door. Darn, even for the city dwellers, we have it all right here in our backyards.
The PNW is a grand adventure of parks, National Forest, Wilderness areas, from oceans to the mountains and desert. We have it all, from wildflowers to wild adventures and wildlife.

This week, life turned to a new adventure, the camping world. Well, not new, have many travel stories in camping life, but now we do it in a little trailer. Its awesome, it is always ready, just throw in a little food, water and clothes and go for as far or long as the heart desires ( or the calendar of life allows).
Just out the back door and up the road and landed at Paradise. Paradise Creek Campground!
Kids are still in school and mid week....the road less traveled with not even close to a crowd. New trails to be found, enormous old growth trees in our little hidden gem of a forest, the Gifford Pinchot.

Living in the woods, you might ask, why go so close to home to get away in the woods when you already have it? Any change of our daily routines, getting away, listening to nature and leaving behind......cell phones, electronics, TV, social media...connection to the modern world helps reset the brain button back into the static free mode.
Reconnecting with nature and reset your daily story. Take a moment to look at the life story you create for yourself on an ongoing basis. If you generally feel peaceful about the past and trust in your ability to handle whatever comes your way, then you are framing circumstances in a manner that serves you well. but, we all have moments, stressors and life thrown at us and need to find a reset button. Going off the grid from it all, helps locate the reset button and reboot the emotional component inside us.

So, whether it is a short adventure down the road to Paradise or traveling hours or days into the woods.....go do it and find your reset button to supercharge your energy. Its not hard to find if you live in the Pacific Northwest.....its at your door waiting.
