"and all at once, Summer collapsed into Fall" Oscar Wilde
Open up your senses and be aware of the miracles that present themselves every day around us. Fall is in "full Bloom". We think of flowers blooming and presenting beautiful colors. Well, Fall has its own blooming season. Like the Spring, the colors in Fall start to slowly present themselves as we slip out of Summer. A few yellow or red leaves appear. Then the miracle of the Autumn goes in to a spectacular full bright on color, Fall in its full bloom.
The days are suddenly shorter and colder. Rain makes its way in, which makes the bark on trees deep rich in browns. The magnificent brilliant colors stand out even more vivid against the dark forest. For a brief time we can capture the beauty at its best. Take it in while it lasts, listen closely for the music and join in on the dance of Autumn.

"Go out with joy and be lead forth with peace.
The mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing
all of the trees of the field shall clap their hands"
Isaiah 55:12
Whether you are driving in the mountains, through the Gorge, across the prairies or hills, Stop! Pause and listen, can you hear his voice and song? The magic of the gift fills the heart with wonder and peace. Through nature we are given this wondrous gift.
"Life starts all over again when it gets crisp into Fall" F. Scott Fitzgerald

There is a very short magical period in October where the colors glow and reflect the light. A time when you can feel the last warmth of Fall before Winter arrives.
Fall colors start to appear in tiny hints of the arrival of Fall by mid-end of Sept. Then there is a magical allure of pristine natural beauty we can grab mid October. But you have to embrace it when it is in full bloom, it will be gone in a week to 10 days ( pending the amount of blustery rains and winds that arrive)
So take a deep breath, slow down and embrace the moment while its here in all its glory.
Every day we are given a gift, that does not need to be given. Every day given, that gift presents itself whether you are hear one more day or 100 years. Life is a miracle and miracles happen all around us every day, stop and embrace it. If you miss it, you are losing out on life. The loss is not being robbed or something taken, loss is something that was given that does not need to be. Loss is something given we take for granted.

" Autumn is a second Spring, when every leaf is a flower" Albert Camus
