Get Out and Get a Little Green!

The world is still spinning and some are spinning out of control. Stop and get your feet out and on the ground and ground your soul. The news across the world is sending fear and panic. The world is at war, with a medical virus. While things shut down and people are encouraged to stay home; throw on the boots and get back to nature. It is St Patty's day, find your own green.......it is all around.

There are millions of miles of trails to find a quiet and socially distanced space. Fight against the virus, don't let it consume and take over your life. We all have restrictions, precautions and preparing to shelter in place. It does not mean sit on the couch and get caught up in the hysteria. Find a "peace" of mind in the great outdoors. Fresh air, peaceful nature and little reminders that we are still part of nature. An Irish saying, " May you live all the days of your life". So, take it in your hands and live life.

The world is ever changing, ever lasting, ever spinning. Keep a little balance and find some normalcy. Remember the things that mankind has survived and a little reflection of my own experiences; I have survived having the measles, mumps, chicken pox, flu and even mild scarlet fever. I have survived and evacuated from Earth quakes, mudslides, and forest fires. I have seen and lived through the riots of Watts, MLK, Rodney King, and Katrina. Do not fear the ideas of time constrictions set for being inside at night or even if the National Guard makes appearance, this is all for safety from things we have seen in the past. I have watched Cancer take my child, a parent and dear friend. There are always challenges in life, so rise up and its not what we face but how we handle it. That which we face makes us stronger as my mother would say when I was young.

"May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow. May the soft winds freshen your spirit. May the sunshine brighten your heart May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you. And may God enfold you in the mantle of His love." An Irish Blessing
The world needs blessing and they are all around us if we look.
