" Give every day the chance to be the most beautiful day in your life"- Mark Twain

Many mornings I enjoy waiting for that brief moment of a "kiss good morning", the burst of color at sunrise from the Heavens. Some days you might wait but the colors don't come, but nature still wakes up. The mornings we are blessed with a blissful burst of color, can help be energizing. But some days, there are too many clouds or fog that diffuse the brilliant colors. This morning even the trees and the mountain were hiding behind the thick fog. I still know;

The mountains are still there even though I can't see them

The trees are still standing tall even though the wind still so they hide in the midst of fog, and it still has its own beauty.

How do we know the mountains are still there? The same way we know the moon is always a full round ball up in the sky, even when it displays a sliver or partial circle. The same way we know the stars are still beyond the blue sky in the daylight, just because they are not twinkling against a black velvet sky.

The same way we know when we go to bed at night and close our eyes, the sun will rise and there will be daylight in the morning. We do not know, what the weather may do to cause the appearance different day to day, clouds, blue sky, rain or snow.

We know, the Eagles and other birds migrate to warmer climates in the Fall and return home in the Spring. The bear still exists even though she likes to hide away and sleep the cold Winter days pass by. We know the bears will awaken in the Spring and some may bear a new cub to bring out as they emerge.

How do we know all this will happen?

The weatherman watches, learns and grows to understand the habits and phenomena s of nature from what we explain and call as "science". Generations and hundreds of years man has watched the skies, followed the stars for direction or the sunset and sunrise as a reference point. Because the stars and the sun have the same patterns giving an explanation we can understand. We do know these patterns will happen each day and we call it "faith".

Mankind has curiosity and constant need to know why, how and when, this leads us to exploration we can only truly accept by faith. Faith vs science can help us to let go of the "need to know everything" and accept as well as appreciate what is right in front of us every day.

"You can not live a meaningful life by filling your life with meaningless things or activities. The secret to living a meaningful life is to strip away everything meaningless. Strip away everything unnecessary and only then what is left will have meaning"- unknown
