Staying On Bear Creek

Life is an adventure and getting out to explore is invigorating. But, sometimes the explore is not about how far or new you can get, its what you can find in your own backyard. The world is blowing up crazy right now and the smart, safe and responsible thing is to stay home. I am fortunate as I do that all the time and love where I live. Hiking is my adventure, even doing those hikes I frequent and have seen a hundred times. Let the adventure beging right in your own space.

Nature is pretty amazing, ever changing, growing, evolving and its right in front of us, if we just take the time to see it. I mean, really see it! Don't let it pass you by. Day to day it changes and Spring is my favorite with daily new growth emerging and giving a cheer a smile and a reminder tomarrow will come. New life popping up with vivid colors to brighten our days. Did you know flowers grow and turn to the light, we should do the same. Even just sitting for a few minutes in the warm sunshine, soak in the warmth, vitamin D and let it lift your heart. Vitamin D is good for the immune system. Fresh air, sunshine and smells of nature don't always have to be a long drive in the woods, a hike up a trail or on top of a mountain because Nature surrounds us every where we go.

Soak in the Sunshine, brighten your soul, lift the spirits, breathe the air and stay home. Enjoy the adventure right in front of you, don't miss out and let it pass you by. Share the joy not the virus, stay home, stay safe, and keep your own germs to yourself. Don't let it get you down, because it does not have to unless you let it win. This is only a test. A test of strength, faith and brains. The smart and strong will win the fight, sadly if we don't pull together and all stay home you can actually hurt someone you love and not even realize it until its too late. It is a challenge, I challenge everyone to seek and find a little bits of Spring, signs of life and hope and find it at home.

" May the Sun bring you new energy by day,
may the moon softly restore yo by night,
may the rain wash away your worries,
may the breeze blow new strength
into your being.
May you walk through the world
and know all its beauty
all the days of your life"
- Apache Blessing
"Nature has everything we need and its right in front of us, but sometimes we are too busy wanting more we don't realize we have it all." Robin

Stay safe, stay healthy and stay at home!
