Time waits for no one

We need to take days to stop, reflect and even discover in out thoughts. There are days we need to decompress and process our lives. We go go go...we work 5 days a week to have 2 off and even then spend that time busy go. We work 40 hours a week to leave maybe 6 to sleep and slip in meals on the go. We work 50 weeks of the year to enjoy a 2 week vacation to a destination get away to unload and relax. We get caught in the rat race of life and busy go go go. Don't wait for a holiday to stop and enjoy family, don't wait until a birthday comes around to spend time with a friend, because time is running out and it waits for no one.

25 years have passed by and yes, "it seems like it was just yesterday". 25 years have disappeared and zipped by since I was able to hold my precious little boy in my arms as he took his last breaths and left this Earth. I blinked! While we know there are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, and 24 hours in a day....I seriously thing sometimes the clock is spinning at a faster speed. Maybe I really only got 100 days out of last year not 365? The Earth does not stop spinning and the clock does not stop ticking, ( even if the battery runs out), time does not stand still.

So does time heal all wounds? Not really, even if you cut yourself, get stitches and the skin grows back together, there is a scar left from the cut. The heart is no different, it is just a wound deep inside that no one else can see, but its there. Faith, love, friends and family can help heal the cut in the heart to a scar. It heals with the strength and love you get from people around you and the bigger picture. Faith, yes, God works in ways we should not question or doubt. Actually, we have an idea of what we want for the moment now and if that ending does not go our way, it does not mean the prayer was not answered. Prayers were answered, just in a different meaning than we pictured.

Time passes, our lives change, new live evolves. Yes, as one life departs the Earth, another one enters. It is not to replace the life that left to forget and move on, but now a way to really appreciate more the new life and let it help fill the emptiness in the heart. Spring is about new life, new beginnings. As the sun shines higher in the sky, the flowers bloom, the birds return and sing more, butterflies will come in for their round and turn, wildlife will birth new life. The butterfly a good example of one life leaves another enters, or does the life just "morph" in its place to fullfill the void? Always in my heart Micheal Eric.

Time passes, season continue to change.....life goes on around us. The mountains still stand tall even when the tops are covered in the clouds. Do the mountain tops disappear in to Heaven?

"He sprouted love like flowers

grew a garden in her mind

and even on the darkest day

from her smile, the sun still shines" Eric Hanson

Its ok to give permission to take a day to hibernate, even in the Spring. Rest up, recharge, regain strength to push our way up through the hardened soil and shine with beauty. If a delicate flower can find strength and over come, so can we. It is nature and the cycle of life around us. So don't wait, don't wait for time to pass you by as it will not wait for you. Appreciate every moment, every day, every minute before the clock runs out.

"May your joys be bright as many

and your sorrow merely be shadows

that fade in the sunlight of love.

May you have enough happiness

to keep you sweet.

Enough trials to keep you strong

enough sorrow to keep you humble

enough hope to keep you happy

and always enough faith to always know love." Welcome to the world Michael Clarence
