From Vaccines, masks, to gun control and the many subjects that have our country divided in opinions. Some days it is just deciding where we are hiking.

Every American has different circumstances and beliefs, and we need to hold onto our freedom of choice. History cannot be erased, and we need to embrace, learn, and grow forward. Our for-fathers fought hard to build what we have today and wrote a constitution to protect us for generations.

Each of us face our own personal circumstances from age, health, life- style, beliefs, family and careers. It is your duty, to gather information from multiple sources and use your critical thinking skills to decipher if getting a vaccine or wearing a mask is best for yourself. I do not think riding a motorcycle on the highway is safe and seen and assisted many fatal to extreme accidents. I don't tell people we need to ban motorcycles or they do not have the freedom to choose to still ride.

The mask mandate has been deemed unconstitutional in many states by the Supreme court with the latest in the state of WI, “they have ended the emergency order. Places of business open to the public absolutely can not require a mask to enter. If you are a place of business and force mask wearing, you have been and are discriminating against those customers who choose to not wear a mask”. This is in title II of the civil rights act www.justice.gov/crt/title-ii-civilrights-act-public-accomadations.

We are not "one size fits all". There are so many special interest groups who want special rights, but when we grant special rights and acknowledge it is for a special group then are we discriminating if you are not part of the group? Where did we stop treating people like people who are just all different and start treating people need to be treated different? We accomadate for differences of ability, religious views, medical reasons, learning styles and the list goes on. Because we are all different, no two people are alike, even with identical twins are not 100% the same.

So to treat everyone equally, we need to respect choices and opinions that may differ.

There are even different opinions with doctors on masks to vaccines.

Science is a hypothesis and gather experiments and the data to create a projected opinion of the experiment based on the outcomes. Do we really know how far the moon is away? Or go deeper to faith, I beleive in God and can not touch or hear him? Hmmm well that is debateble as I see his work in the beauty every day and hear him in the wind or my dreams without science.

We are: “The United States of America to the republic for which it stands one nation under God”, and we were built and founded upon these beliefs. But, if you are not a person of religion and believe in God, you may not listen aswhole- heartedly and take offense in some way. Don’t try to change the laws and constitution that protect you to keep your beliefs.

Over a year ago I stopped and listened while I had time to gather information to make my own informed decisions. At first I stepped back and said "ok we got this", I can stay home 2 weeks and distance myself for a short period of time for the "better of the people and society health". Then it has turned into over a year. The information does change as we learn more but we have only heard for 13 months now:

“Social distance stay at home

2 weeks stay home to flatten a curve

wear a mask when you can’t be 6 feet apart indoors

mask mandate and still stay 6 feet apart

get a vaccine we all need to do our part so life can go back to normal and protect yourself

now that you have a vaccine you should still social distance, wear a mask and not gather

the vaccine won’t protect you from other variants or from spreading it to others“

Yes there is data that will change as we learn and watch it evolve so do your own research.

After gathering numbers and my own data from several places not just one ( the CDC), because you can't trust a true representation of the facts from just one source including the news.

Yes there is a virus, yes it will effect some, yes some will die but so does the seasonal flu.

What is my age, my health, my livelyhood, so do I need a mask or vaccine? MY CHOICE that fits just me.

I have not stopped living life, hugging loved ones, traveling, gathering and yes, I even hugged an old friend in the store! We are both still alive believe it or not!

Life can be short, don’t waste it. I choose to gather, be with friends and family and I am a hugger! Make your own choices what is best for you and respect the choice of others that differ, I won't hug you if you don't feel comfortable. Don’t live in fear but in faith and base your choices with your own brain and thinking skills you were given.

God Bless America, land that I love!

I will go hiking Monday.....and it is Spring....the bears should be waking up soon!
