January is here, and Winter comes along with it.

There can be dreary gray skies, fog, rain, wind and snow in many areas. The trees are bare, the ground covers have died back, except for the ever greens, life has retreated. Winter is related to death, cold , barren. In the midst of winter blues also starts a New Year. Don't let the gray winter make you feel like hibernating, instead take on the new beginning. In the dead of winter a new year is born. The Winter

warmth begins in the heart.

A still quiet day when the fog hangs onto the tree tops and across the hills, the clouds are so low the mountain top is tucked away, enjoy the peacefulness. Perfect time to restart the body, soul, and spirit for a new year and fresh start. This is a season for recovery and restoration. Don't think of winter as a season, but as a celebration.

"Always glitter with a radiance that shines from deep within", you too can shine through the gray.

Life does not bloom in only spring, every season has its time to bloom. Blooming is opening up, to blossom. So let there be a blossom in winter, a time to flourish. We often associate the new year with new healthy conditioning; so let this be the time or period of greatest beauty, artistry.

The blossoms of each season have their own colors, smells, feelings. Winter is a perfect time to still connect in nature. While Earth may not be Heaven, there are still pieces of Heaven all around us. When the wind is still, the sky is misty gray; there is so much you can still hear the voice of nature in the silence. It can be a peaceful time to listen.

Don't let Winter keep you inside and hibernate, even on dark gray days there is natural light. Staying inside made with artificial light instead of natural light is not healthy for the body mind and soul. Its a time to rejuvenate. There is a calmness to winter, unlike all the other seasons that whispers strength to the soul. Those who sing through the winter, will dance in the spring.

“He who marvels at the beauty of the world in summer will find equal cause for wonder and admiration in winter.” — John Burroughs
